A slow moving cold front brought slow moving thunderstorms with heavy rain through the area on the evening of September 23rd into early morning on the 24th. Rainfall amounts generally ranged from 1-3 inches with some locally higher amounts. Most of the rainfall fell in a 1-2 hour period.
