Tropical Storm Andrea crossed the forecast area from the Gulf of Mexico. SE Ga and NE Fl were on the northeast side of the storm...which focused onshore convergent bands. A few tornadoes were spawned along the Duval and Nassau county Atlantic coasts...with gusty tropical storm force winds and locally heavy rainfall over inland areas.
