A stalled front interacted with a moist airmass over the region as upper level disturbances moved parallel to the front, producing training thunderstorms over the region through afternoon and evening. Flash flooding occurred south of Highway 60 during the evening as rainfall amounts between 2 and 6 inches occurred in a 24 hour period.
