An active monsoon surge brought thunderstorms producing heavy rain, damaging wind gusts, and hail across the state.

Flash Flood — Jul 19, 2017

Widespread thunderstorms developed across the state of Utah for several days in mid-July, producing both strong wind gusts and heavy rainfall.

Flash Flood — Sep 8, 2014

Additional moisture moved into Utah in early September, helping to initiate scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some reports of flash flooding on the 5th through 7th. This moisture intensified on the 8th and 9th, as deeper moisture associated with Tropical Storm Norbert moved over the state, producing more widespread flooding.
