A complex of thunderstorms along a cold front moved across southern Wisconsin causing locally damaging winds, large hail and flash flooding. A tornado occurred near Evansville.

After a very wet March and an early April rain and snowstorm, river flooding ensued for the first couple weeks in April for southeast WI.
