A broken squall line of showers and thunderstorms produced scattered pockets of strong winds and a few tornadoes. The strongly forced squall line was accompanied by several transient meso-vortices within an environment of very strong low level wind shear. Very limited instability reduced the longevity of these meso-vortices. Dew points in the upper 50's ahead of the line proved sufficient for a few tornadoes.
