A slow moving cold front triggered showers and thunderstorms across the region from the late evening of the 20th to the late afternoon of the 21st. A few of the stronger storms produced wind gusts over 60 mph and hail up to 1.25 inches in diameter. There were also several reports of flooding along the Interstate 44 corridor. Rainfall accumulations averaged between one half inch and one inch, with isolated accumulations over 2.5 inches near Fort Leonard Wood and Rolla.
