A strong cold front moving through the region on the 25th. A broken line of thunderstorms developed along the frontal boundary. A few storms developed ahead of the main line of storms for a short period before the main line caught up to them. This resulted in a longer period of rainfall for some areas of New Orleans metro which lead to flash flooding.
