Active weather remained in full force on July 18th as several rounds of showers and thunderstorms worked their way through West Virginia. The most impactful convection took place on the morning of the 18th, when downed trees resulted in damage to a residential trailer and flash flooding occurred in Cabell and Wayne Counties. Heavy rain also transpired in the afternoon the day prior, which led to high water issues in Putnam County.
