Localized flooding issues arose for the final few days of July in West Virginia as daily showers and thunderstorms developed. These storms were generally slow moving, contributing to heavy and prolonged periods of rainfall. High water inundation onto local roads were observed in parts of central West Virginia during the course of these events.
