Another round of heavy rain showers impacted portions of eastern Kentucky during the early morning hours of July 27th, thanks to a lingering and weakening stationary boundary across the region and a strong flow of moisture advection on the heals of SW flow. Several of these heavy rain producers went across portions of Pike County, leading to two reports of flash flooding.
