A slow moving cold front moved through New England on the night of October 13th before becoming nearly stationary and sparking coastal cyclone development over the region through Saturday October 15th. This front and associated wave of low pressure produced heavy rainfall and isolated flooding to the area, especially in the favored upslope areas of the Western Maine Mountains.
