Powerful low pressure rapidly intensified across the Great Lakes from the 22nd into the 23rd...tracking to Quebec province during the 24th. A secondary low developed across western New England during the 23rd from the occluding Great Lakes low. The secondary low then drew an occluded front across the region through the 23rd into the early morning hours of the 24th.
