Strong to severe storms developed during the afternoon and evening over central and south central Missouri, within the warm sector of a low pressure system that tracked across central Missouri. Hail up to the size of golf balls and sporadic wind damage to trees and powerlines occurred over Dent, Howell, Miller, Texas, and Wright Counties. A low water crossing flooded near Bakersfield in Ozark County.
