On July 4, showers and thunderstorms developed across most of the state around noon. The line of storms across southern New Hampshire contained localized downpours that dropped 2 to 3��� over a 3 hour period in Stoddard and Wolfeboro. Additional flooding was reported in both of these towns during the early afternoon hours with road flooding and erosion damage being reported.
