Flash Flood — Doddridge, WV

Sep 9, 2023

Unsettled weather was on the docket each afternoon from September 9th through the 12th across West Virginia as a result of a stationary frontal boundary residing over the area. While severe parameters were not impressive during this time frame, afternoon thunderstorms had enough gumption to promote isolated tree and power line damage across parts of the state. High moisture levels festering over these several days also resulted in high water issues along local roads, especially in Raleigh County
