Scattered rain showers brought widespread rain to interior Northern California. Isolated thunderstorms brought locally heavy rain to portions of the Sacramento metro area, with rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches of rainfall reported, locally higher. The heaviest rain occurred in the late afternoon and evening, causing local road flooding.
