On the evening of April 17th, a cold front pressing in from the west tapped into warm temperatures and high moisture levels festering over southeast Ohio to stir up strong to severe thunderstorms. Damaging wind gusts accompanying storms resulted in downed trees in Morgan and Perry Counties, while quarter sized hail was observed across multiple spots in Washington County.
