Thunderstorms flourished across southeast Ohio on the afternoon and evening of June 21st as a cold front glided through the region. Most of the storms became stronger after passing over the Ohio River, but there were a few instances of damaging wind gusts that resulted in downed trees in the area. The combination of previous rainfall and multiple rounds of showers that day resulted in several flash flooding events.
