A slow moving low pressure system spread scattered showers and storms across West Virginia on the morning of May 14th, with more substantial rainfall amounts accrued from a wave of showers and storms later that evening and night. In Wayne County, two and a half to three inches of rain fell across the southern portion of the county and led to flooding along Cabwaylingo Park Road. Flooding ceased as precipitation lifted north before midnight.
