Flood Cause
Heavy Rain

A cold front passed through the area on the afternoon and evening of the 6th. A southerly flow ahead of the boundary allowed for plenty of moisture to move into the area. Therefore, thunderstorms contained heavy rainfall that led to some instances of flash flooding across northeastern Maryland.
