A slow-moving cold front lingered near the Ohio Valley from July 3rd through July 5th, with multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms moving through the area during this time period. While most of the thunderstorms were not severe, a few instances of wind damage were observed in the Louisville metro. Additionally, a brief spin-up EF1 tornado occurred in west Louisville on July 4th. The cold front finally moved through the area during the evening on July 5th, bringing an end to this period of
