A weak surface boundary moving across South Florida brought ample instability, lift, and moisture advection to provide conditions prime for afternoon convection on August 15th. Numerous showers and thunderstorms brough the threat for hazards such as heavy downpours, gusty winds, and localized flooding with any slow moving storms.
