Multiple supercell thunderstorms developed along a broad, diffuse baroclinic boundary across Northeast Texas throughout the day on June 8th. MLCAPE values were in excess of 4500 J/kg in proximity to these thunderstorms, with modest northwesterly mid-level flow contributing to 45 knots of effective bulk shear.
