Slow moving thunderstorms formed over Benson, AZ that produced heavy rainfall that led to flash flooding. Over the 2 hours that rainfall fell, two rainfall gauges reported 1.10-1.25 inches of rainfall. Two separate sections of Pomerene Rd had flooding that made the roadway impassable.
