Training thunderstorms brought very heavy rain to parts of central North Dakota during the evening of August 21st, with flash flooding occurring over parts of Rolette and Wells counties. Up to four inches of rain within a two hour period caused water nearly a foot deep to flow over roadways in the city of Rollete, Rolette County.
