Isolated storms developed during the afternoon across the Western Southern Tier and Finger Lakes. These storms had practically no movement, and dropped very heavy rainfall amounts in a few spots. Radar estimates of 2 to 3 inches in an hour were noted. In Dansville, numerous roads were flooded and closed. In Andover, a mudslide closed Route 21 just north of the Town of Andover.
