Low pressure moved out of the Mid-Atlantic region and across southern New England on March 22nd and 23rd. The storm system produced 1.5 to 2 inches of rain across central and southern Vermont. This heavy rainfall combined with runoff from melting snow in the higher elevations produced scattered flooding.
