A warm-core low pressure system slowly moved along the Interstate 35 corridor and provided a focus for deep-tropical convection to develop across the southeastern portions of North Texas. Significant flash flooding occurred in several counties, and the flooding caused millions of dollars in damage. Even with all of the heavy rain and flash flooding, no lives were lost.
