A complex of strong to severe thunderstorms moved eastward out of the plains of New Mexico and progressed across the western and central South Plains during the evening hours of the 3rd. One storm within the complex produced large hail over Yoakum County. The complex of storms produced heavy rainfall that resulted in minor street flooding in Terry and Lubbock Counties.
