Outflow pushing east from Indiana combined with pop up thunderstorms over Ohio to produce severe thunderstorms during the afternoon. Some of these storms produced very heavy rainfall and flash flooding. The main threats from these storms were damaging thunderstorm winds and flash flooding due to heavy rain.
