The combination of fresh water runoff, unusually high spring astronomical tides and a weak southeasterly flow produced moderate tidal flooding during the afternoon high tide cycle along tidal sections of the Delaware River and its tributaries. While the worst tidal flooding for this event occurred during that afternoon, minor tidal flooding also occurred during the afternoon of the 28th, early morning of the 29th, and the late afternoons of September 30th, October 1st and October 2nd.||In Burlin
