Flash Flood — Ocean, NJ

The combination of thunderstorms igniting along the sea breeze front and other thunderstorms that developed preceding an approaching cold front caused pockets of very heavy rain across New Jersey during the afternoon and evening of the 22nd. Hardest hit was southern Ocean County where multiple thunderstorms moved over the same area. Doppler Radar storm total estimates exceeded 6 inches.
