A warm front moved northward through Southern New England, resulting in moist southerly flow across much of the area. Showers and thunderstorms developed across western Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire, producing heavy rainfall towards the end of one of the wettest June's in southern New England history. This resulted in flash flooding in several locations.
