Scattered thunderstorms occurred during the evening hours of the 29th over the Coastal Bend. Locally heavy rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches fell over portions of Corpus Christi and Rockport. This heavy rainfall produced flooding of roadways across the central part of Corpus Christi and near Rockport.
