Repeated rounds of heavy rainfall led to flooding across eastern Kentucky on December 6th and 7th. In general, between two and half and three and a half inches of rain fell for the event and a number of roads around the area were underwater from time to time. There were also a few instances of automobiles becoming surrounded by water. The rain transitioned to a wintry mix late on the 6th before ending and this led to a few automobile accidents in Fleming county.
