A strong upper disturbance propagated through the southern Great Plains into the lower Mississippi Valley between Thursday and late Friday. This system brought a couple rounds of storms during this time as it combined with increasing deep moisture and strong upper level winds. Conditions were favorable for large hail and damaging winds as stronger lift combined with the moisture and instability.
