Heavy rain redeveloped from eastern Edwards and Real Counties into western Bandera and Kerr Counties near midnight on the 2nd. General rainfall totals were only 1 to 2 inches. However, isolated amounts up to 5 inches were indicated between Rocksprings and Leakey. Since much of the soil across the area was already saturated from previous rainfall, flash flooding developed very quickly. A woman, aged 82, was drowned in her vehicle in Guadalupe River near Center Point in the early morning hour
