The Guadalupe River at Hunt crested at 17.6 feet, putting five and a half feet of turbulent flow over the highway 39 bridge, a main artery between the eastern and western portions of Kerr County. A rise of this magnitude isolates people in portions of the Guadalupe River drainage for hours.
