Flash Flood — Kerr, TX

Heavy rain developed along a cold front moving eastward across South Central Texas during the late afternoon and evening. General rainfall of 2 to 3 inches, with isolated totals to near 5 inches, were reported from Burnet to Llano to Leakey to Garner Park and back through Bandera and Fredericksbug to Burnet. Soils across the area were still wet from rainfall on the 2nd and 3rd and flash flooding developed quickly for generally 2 to 3 hours, then ended. A man aged 35 drowned in Gillespie Count
