Two bands of thunderstorms affected the southeastern part of Indiana on the 9th. In the morning, a large bow echo moved rapidly eastward across east-central Indiana causing widespread wind damage. In the afternoon, a larger cluster moved southward across the entire region causing wind damage, dropping large hail, and causing flooded roads.
