A storm system in the Ohio Valley on Saturday, December 16th tracked northeast across the St Lawrence Valley during Sunday, December 17th. Heavy rain (around 3 1/2 inches) and mild weather resulted in flooding across the county. Flooding was reported in and around the Lyndonville area with portions of Routes 5, 114, and 122 flooded.
