Thunderstorms developed during the early morning hours of June 18th along a nearly stationary front. These storms produced very heavy rain that led to flash flooding occurring across portions of Trempealeau, Jackson and Monroe Counties. In addition, these storms also produced some strong winds that knocked down trees near West Salem (La Crosse County) and Adams (Adams County).
