Excessive snow melt caused flooding on the Kuparuk river at Kuparuk June 1st into June 2nd. The roads in Kuparuk were flooded with 18 inches of water at the height of the flooding, according to security personnel. The water level dropped on the afternoon of the 1st. Damaged amount is estimated for road repair as no structures were impacted.
