Flash Flood — Wyoming, NY

Slow moving thunderstorms dropped between two- and two-and-a-half-inches of rain across parts of the Genesee valley and western southern tier. The torrential rains produced flash flooding with roads inundated with flowing water in parts of Darien, New Albion, Bennington, Conewango and Leon. In Bennington several residents had to be evacuated by the local Fire Department.
