Training thunderstorms, rolling out of northeast Kentucky, hit the area from Prichard to Wayne and Lavalette. Wayne measured 3.38 inches of rain in a 24 hour period, most of which fell during a 3 hour period this Monday evening, the 5th. Just east of the heaviest rain, East Lynn measured 1.8 inches. Streams such as Gragston Creek, Lynn Creek, Whites Creek, Toms Creek, Garrett Creek flooded. State officials surveyed 1 house with major damage and 2 with minor damage. These were located near L
