Flash Flood — Luna, NM

Aug 4, 2014

A weak upper level trough was moving through Arizona with a weak ridge over the front range of the Rockies. At the surface, a bit of a dryline was located near the Rio Grande Valley providing some low level convergence for storms to develop. Residual moisture from heavy rains earlier in the week contributed to the locally heavy rain that developed around the Columbus area.
