Three to four inches of rain fell over Waushara county and the southern half of Winnebago county during the morning hours of the 11th. Many rivers in that part of the state were already swollen after weeks of much above normal rainfall. The torrential rainfall flooded streets and highways, including U.S. Highway 41 (the major highway through Winnebago co.).
