Scattered showers and thunderstorms developed over the region on the 7th as a warm front lifted north into southern Pennsylvania. The thunderstorms across Northeast Maryland produced strong winds that downed trees and power lines, penny size hail, and flooding. Two to four inches of rain fell in Northeast Maryland with local amounts up to six inches.
