A frontal boundary from northern Vermont southwest across eastern New York resulted in showers and thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall. Across Rutland county a few roads were flooded in the towns of Chittenden and Pittsford. In addition, the basements of a few homes were flooded in the town of Chittenden.
